What size commercial system should we install?
It comes down to your daytime load and your roof. Businesses that run machinery, refrigeration or air conditioning through the day usually see the fastest returns because they consume most of what they generate.
What happens at 100 kW?
Systems under 100 kW create Small-scale Technology Certificates, applied as an upfront discount. Systems of 100 kW and above create Large-scale Generation Certificates instead, earned annually on actual generation. It's a genuinely different financial model — see our commercial rebates page.
Can we claim the system as a tax deduction?
Eligible businesses may be able to deduct the cost under the instant asset write-off, which stacks with the STC discount. Thresholds and eligibility change, so confirm with your accountant.
Will installation disrupt operations?
We stage commercial installs around your operating hours. Most of the work happens on the roof, and switchboard tie-ins are scheduled for agreed windows.
