Assumptions used
- STC zone rating 1.382 (NSW Zone 3) and 5 deeming years remaining (2026–2030)
- Certificate price of $38 — market price, commonly $35–40
- Battery factor of 6.8 STCs per usable kWh, tapered 100% / 60% / 15% across the bands
- Solar STCs apply below 100 kW only; larger systems create LGCs instead
- Batteries under 5 kWh are not eligible; certificates stop above 50 kWh usable
